Domaine Jamet Côtes du Rhône 2019
I don’t think there’s much more to say about this wine...everything’s already been said. If I were to add my two cents to this well documented treat: it’s far too easy to drink!
The Wine:
Deep ruby, with a medium (+) nose of violets, lavender, blackberries, blueberries, red and black cherries, dark plums, cloves, tobacco, black pepper, leather, earth, guava peel, some orange peel, and a little bitter garrigue.
Dry, medium (+) acidity, medium (+) bodied, smooth ripe medium tannins, high alcohol, and a long finish. Far too easy to drink!
